There are loads of really nice map tools coming out for<a href=\"http://www.openstreetmap.org/\"> Open Street Maps</a> (<a href=\"http://leafletjs.com/\">leaflet</a>, <a href=\"http://www.mapbox.com/\">mapbox</a>, <a href=\"http://www.mapbox.com/tilemill/\">tilemill</a>, and more), and there will probably be a load more for Google maps since their <a title=\"cnet reports\" href=\"http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-3513_7-57584722/navigating-the-changes-to-google-maps-at-i-o-2013/\">announcements at IO</a>.</p>\n<p><a href=\"http://notionparallax.co.uk/voCell/#15/-33.8746/151.2296\"><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-1352\" alt=\"cafesV\" src=\"https://notionparallax.co.uk/assets/cafesV.png\" width=\"100%\" height=\"321\" /></a></p>\n<p>As a start at trying to work out the level of amenity for a given spot, I thought I'd take a crack at recreating the work that  <a title=\"John Snow (physician)\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Snow_(physician)\">John Snow</a>, did on the <a title=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1854_Broad_Street_cholera_outbreak\">1854 Broad Street cholera outbreak</a>.
