For the last few months I’ve been a bit invisible. I’ve had my time monopolised by the competition for the Rio 2016 Olympic park masterplan.

We needed to produce a design, and also a video, all in an incredibly short time. I was notionally running the job for BVN but, I know it’s a cliché, it was far more of a team effort than I’d expected. Everyone did an incredible job.  I ended up more as a project mum than the iconic architect figure (more Mrs Doubtfire than Fountainhead). I’m really pleased with the results. we got an honourable mention, so obviously the judges liked it too.
